XP Deluxe Protector is a new rogue application. It will show false scanning results to entice users to purchase their software.

XP Deluxe Protector will also “hijack” Windows Security Center and attempt
to make users pay by using this text:

“Windows Security center reports that XP Deluxe Protector is inable.
Antivirus software helps to protect your computer against viruses and
other security threats. Click Recommendations for the suggested actions.
Your system might be at risk now.”

Note: Windows has detected an unregistered version of “Xp Deluxe Protector”

Lavasoft detects this rogue under the name Win32.FraudTool.XpDeluxeProtector.
