Interesting EULAs

by Albin on February 19th, 2008 in EULA.

This is a quote from Zango Inc. EULA. It can be found in the very end of the agreement where the average user would probably miss it.

"If any part of this Agreement is held by a court to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of the balance of the Agreement, which will remain valid and enforceable according to its terms."

What does this actually mean ?

One interpretation might be that the entire EULA could be "illegal, invalid or unenforceable" but agreeing to the EULA makes it legal valid and enforceable. The research team is slightly confused by the wording!

Form your own opinion but don't forget to read EULAs.
