Process activity

The Worm creates the following process(es):

%original file name%.exe:1836
%original file name%.exe:1668
flash.exe:1384
flash.exe:168

The Worm injects its code into the following process(es):

iexplore.exe:320
Explorer.EXE:1572

Mutexes

The following mutexes were created/opened:
No objects were found.

File activity

The process %original file name%.exe:1836 makes changes in the file system.
The Worm creates and/or writes to the following file(s):

%System%\system32\flash.exe (5873 bytes)
%Documents and Settings%\%current user%\Local Settings\Temp\XX--XX--XX.txt (235 bytes)

Registry activity

The process %original file name%.exe:1836 makes changes in the system registry.
The Worm creates and/or sets the following values in system registry:

[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography\RNG]
"Seed" = "2B 13 98 94 52 3A D2 05 45 00 1B 4C 03 11 44 20"

[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{C782N206-7413-8HM8-2P0S-7TL04DHNWQ32}]
"StubPath" = "%System%\system32\flash.exe Restart"

[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer\Run]
"Flash" = "%System%\system32\flash.exe"

[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\Run]
"Flash" = "%System%\system32\flash.exe"

To automatically run itself each time Windows is booted, the Worm adds the following link to its file to the system registry autorun key:

[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
"HKCU" = "%System%\system32\flash.exe"

[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
"HKLM" = "%System%\system32\flash.exe"

The process %original file name%.exe:1668 makes changes in the system registry.
The Worm creates and/or sets the following values in system registry:

[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography\RNG]
"Seed" = "1F 54 AD 93 AD E0 8D 8C 82 3F EF 0E 89 2B 1B 08"

The process flash.exe:1384 makes changes in the system registry.
