Globally known anti-spyware pioneer Lavasoft, today announced that their Internet security solution Ad-Aware Pro has completed certification for the OESIS OK program founded by OPSWAT, a provider of development tools that power software application manageability. This certification means that the program is deemed to be compatible with network solutions from Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, F5 Networks, Microsoft, Citrix, HP and others, and provides customers with independent verification that Ad-Aware Pro operates seamlessly with thousands of compliance, manageability assessment and support solutions.

The OESIS Framework is a cross platform, open development framework which enables software engineers and technology vendors to develop products that detect, classify and manage thousands of third-party software applications.

Ad-Aware Pro received OESIS OK certification in the antispyware category. The certification program is comprised of several stages of comprehensive testing, including an installation test on all supported operating systems, a rogue application test that checks for potentially malicious code and system interoperability. The certification verifies the interoperability of endpoint security applications with products from market-leading technology vendors.

"The OESIS Framework and certification program serves as an important directive to our users as the integration of security solutions in the infrastructure of networks is greatly facilitated," says Lavasoft CTO, Johnny Widerlund.
