How it works is by analyzing websites your browser visits and attempts to find and display deals associated with products offered on the site. It is typically loaded with malware and starts automatically with windows. This is why it is considered a potentially unwanted application.
Since Jan 15, it is now illegal in Canada for websites to install any updates or installations without permission from the user. This also applies to app updates on your smartphones and tablets.
The MyStart.com is a browser hijacker once installed on your PC, it will set itself to mystart.com as a browser homepage and Yahoo as a default search engine. You can also find DL Secure extension installed to your browser. The main revenue MyStart.com and other similar websites get from sponsored search results, displayed when you browse the web.

Vosteran is a web browser extension/add-on that claims to enhance your web browsing experience. If installed, it changes your homepage and default search engine to vosteran.com and can display intrusive adverts when browsing the Internet, making it a potentially unwanted application.
SpeeditUp is a potentially unwanted application that claims to observe and test your PC’s broadband connection and download speeds. It also installs additional browser extensions/add-ons which display aggressive adverts when browsing the Internet if installed on your PC.
SpeeditUp can be bundled with third party applications (usually through the use of a download manager) in such a way that it is commonly installed without the user affirmatively consenting to the install.
