Even if excessive consumption of alcohol has grave consequences to your health, e-mailing while drunk can be even more hazardous to your relationships, private and professional alike. Google seems to think that this is enough of a problem to introduce Mail Goggles, a new experimental feature in Gmail.

Bad pop-upThe BBC recently reported on a study at North Carolina State University where as many as 63% of the test subjects were fooled to click on fake pop-up messages.

Video Tutorials for Ad-AwareYou may have noticed that we posted some instruction videos for Ad-Aware a while ago. If you haven't watched them already, I highly recommend it - Patrick's done a great job with these with lots of useful information, especially in the later installments.

While we are on the subject of Internet video, Mjukvara.se has published a couple of nice video reviews for Ad-Aware and Lavasoft Personal Firewall in Swedish. So if you speak the language of vikings, check out the videos - they're quite well made.

Italian, Dutch and Ad-AwareAd-Aware continues to travel the world and has now picked up enough of Dutch and Italian to be able to communicate with its users in these languages! They are both included in the latest software update.

In other news, Ad-Aware's traveling partner - the Lavasoft Website - now also speaks Nederlands and Italiano so be sure to check them out through the language selector at the top of the page.

Screenshot of SesameFor a non-technical user, configuring a firewall can sometimes be a daunting task. The usual solution employed by firewall vendors is to try to automate as much as possible. Authentication security have traditionally been achieved with passwords, whitelists and blacklists. This kind of security often comes at the price being hard to use and manage, making it unsuitable for content-sharing social communities like Facebook and QQ. So what do you do when you just want to share some private photos with a few friends but don't want to go to the trouble of password generation and distribution?

Podcasts are great for a number of reasons, one being that people in different locations in the world can co-host a show (which is a lot harder to do with video for obvious reasons).
